Pankaj Advani reserved a page for himself in the history book by becoming the first and the only cueist to win the Asian billiards title three times in a row.
Advani defeated Singapore’s Peter Gilchrist in the finals on Thursday, Apr 16 at the Yeshwant Club in Indore.
The fact that he was facing a former world champion did not seem to deter the youngster’s determination to clinch the title.
Advani kept his composure and outshone Gilchrist 6-5 to achieve the historic hat-trick at the 2010 Asian Billiards Championship.
Advani, who hails from Bangalore, also holds the World Professional Billiards Title.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
