long queues to fill CNG tanks

Indore 25June: It takes almost half the day to fill up CNG tanks. The CNG powered autos, Tata Magic and van drivers seem long affected. They complain of long queues that take them more than half the day to fill their tanks.

Most vehicles are either taken over instalments or they hire and run. The auto drivers complain of having very less time to earn to pay instalments. They have requested for a new CNG fill up station in the city. Rent paid by them is about Rs. 150-200 per day. The long queues have deeply affected their earnings. Even the auto rickshaw owners said that the pumping stations cannot provide enough pressure to fill up gas quickly.

A request to the CNG mother station has been posted to keep it available 24 hours so as to avail 24 hours service to collect CNG gas.
