    NAxalites
Every third day we come to know through print and electronic media about the naxalites attack on security forces. Scores of security personnel have laid their life so far for no reason. The menace of naxalites has spread over many states but the government has so far failed to tackle the problem.

The naxalite movement was born under the special circumstances and of course with good intension. It was against land-lords, exploiters, money – lenders, etc. and the weeker establishment. Hence, it got people’s support. But over the years the movement lost its bearings. Its leaders themselves started living luxurious lives and enjoyed loot and robbery. Hence, now there is need to curb the naxalite movement with an iron hand.

One wonders as to why our government proves helpless to curb naxalites activity. We boost that if any foreign power attacks India it will be given a depth below. But then how only regional problems those can’t be controlled are a big question mark. May be law and order is an individual subject for the State Govts and they are required to take suitable action. But when State Govts fail in their respective role Central government should interrupt and come between. Recently Hon. Home minister has offered talks to naxalities. This is a welcome thought.

In case, the naxalities agree to come on the discussion grounds, not only law and order situation will improve, but also it will save many women and children from becoming widowed and orphans.

Yes i think the writer has rightly pointed out that when there is any attack outside are country, our govt and officials looks for firm answer to it, which is good thing. but then when it comes to attacks within our country why can’t are govt take the same stand for it ? why such double standard ? is the lives of our innocent villagers whether women children or weak men is worthless ? why cant our politicians and so called leaders look to this menance and find some permanent solution to it ? these are some serious questions people should ask the authorities.

    Reality shows: true reality?
Indian channels are filled with reality shows about everything. Every aspect of the feelings and emotions are highly exploited in such shows amongst a huge crowd of millions of people. Is everything shown on such shows real? Are the emotions and affairs etc. real? Some parts of such shows are edited and are forced to act on just to develop TRP’s for the channel and the serial.
Reality shows that are being flashed now days on television include, ISS JUNGLE SE MUJHE BACHCHAO, SACH KA SAAMNA, OTHER LAUGHTER SHOWS, SAREGAMAPA LIL CHAMPS, RAKHI KA SWAYAMVAR ETC.
Let’s look onto each show separately and find its pros and cons individually.
    ISS JUNGLE SE MUJHE BACHCHAO:
What is this show exactly about? Is it a dare show or a reality drama? If the prize money is so high and it is rewarding true competitors why the celebs are only chosen for the show? Today this nation is in immense need for money, there are hundreds of people without money, jobs, and even without food. But we enjoy celebs to get on screen for so called reality dramas and earn money which is not even half their regular income. Why do these celebrities want to leave their household work and daily routines? Why do they crave for living in the wild with all sorts of animals and insects and play disgusting creature games? A person like Fiza – the recent queen of controversy with her husband Chand, is in the show. She’s been into such a weird controversy and she is here to play as the innocent chap of the team – another way of increasing TRP’s. One wonders as to how such absurdities may pollute the minds of the viewers. The show has just begun and it promises for more fun and gossips, so people u still have a long time to glue yourself to the TV for a jungle reality with humans.
    SACH KA SAAMNA:
Another kind of hot seat truth reality a copy of English show called “the moment of truth”. The show is all about revealing the truth to the world of many personal lives. The recent show invited a lady in the show. She was ready to reveal herself in front of the whole world, and loved ones. She was a bit nervous and partly confident to open herself up in public. The inner secret of her life was slowly unwrapped with every new question. But anyone who has seen the show would definitely agree with me that this show reveals the secret of a person without valid reason except to make money and that making money may lead to unwanted disputes in families. Is this right to ask anyone about their personal and love life? It is almost like selling your own ego and self respect for just a lust for money. But yes our society does need such kind of craps to rule the television channels and make their time entertaining. The viewers are satisfied that it’s not their family and it’s not happening to them but is happy to see someone else getting exploited and the viewer ends up carrying the negative feelings for their own loved ones and relations, and such shows are going to create additional unhealthy challenges to our society.
    RAKHI KA SWAYAMWAR:
Another show with full of controversies and with the queen of controversies has been gaining high TRP’s. People love seeing Rakhi on their screens and when it comes to her marriage everyone is ready to suggest a right groom. An ironical situation I must say. Though this might be a serious and personnel affair for Rakhi, but it is an event of fun and gossips for the nation. Can anyone imagine Ravi Kisen – the actor, standing beside her as a brother, who once had a deep hatred for her in the Big Boss season I?
Well there is much more to view for the Rakhi lovers. She is still about to marry the “right guy”. So guys do keep yourself glued to NDTV imagine for masala from Rakhi Sawant.
    SAREGAMAPA LI’L CHAMPS:
The sweetest talent hunt for young singers is getting a tough competition. Children are showing their talent to the world and the world appreciates the show due to its purity and honesty. This reality show is really entertaining and but for one thing the judgement by public voting that breeds linguistic, religious, provincial polarisation. Somehow the public voting stuff gets really partial with the contestants because may be some kid is really getting better by learning there but suddenly he/she faces a drop down in the competition and someone else wins. Kids really don’t understand the meaning of winning at this age of 9 or 11, but their parents demand more of them. This has a high amount of pressure on the little children and children undergo a high amount of pressure and hard work other than studies. Making career in this little age is a burden for these children. But still the talent within them is refined and rejuvenated and this improves and builds one part of their personality.
But here I conclude saying that this reality show is still better than other celebrity reality shows that display their style of living and exploit their past and emotions cruelly. But this leaves still much to be desired.

Finally before summing up, we people find something really interesting in these reality shows as they have a short life and do not last long with absurd stories like the ones of Ekta Kapoor. Nevertheless these shows throw a challenge to the viewers and create awareness among the intelligent people.
